What I do really well:
I’ve always enjoyed doing puzzles, especially the kind that forces you to think outside of the box. This common theme in my life has helped me hone my analytical skills which has been invaluable to the clients and coworkers that I’ve had the pleasure of working with.
Why I get up in the morning:
There’s always something that I’m trying to learn or get better at, but the allure of a warm cozy bed on a cold winter morning can be difficult to overcome. In moments like this, I think to one of my favorite quotes, “Dreams without goals are just dreams and they ultimately fuel disappointment.” - Denzel Washington
How I got here:
After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a degree in finance and economics, I started my career in the financial services industry at Ameriprise Financial. I’ve had roles in advising, compliance, operations, and financial planning. While these positions have provided a broad experience within the industry, my interests have always drew me back to investment analysis. This ultimately fueled my desire to achieve the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and I’m currently a level III CFA candidate. Finally as a complement to my endeavors, I’ve joined MRP where I’m very excited to provide my skills and expertise.
Who am I really:
I’m a techie that has an equal passion for the outdoors. I’m a husband that wants to make his family proud. I’m a snowboarder who one day hopes to be good at golf. I’m someone who enjoys and promotes camaraderie at every opportunity.
