What I do really well:
I have always been a team player. When there is a task at hand I can set aside my own needs for the needs of the team. I am a true believer of the phrase “There is no “I” in team.” Every day I try to associate myself with people who have more experience than me. Learning from others successes and failures is the best form of knowledge I receive. I am a “fixer” at heart. If there is an issue or problem I have always been one to try and fix it right away (sometimes too much from what my wife says).
Why I get up in the morning:
Helping individuals feel secure and plan brings the most satisfaction. I want to be able to assist individuals in working towards accomplishing their financial goals and know that the future is bright. Most importantly I enjoy what I do.
How I got here:
Growing up my dad was an accountant so numbers and business concepts have always been a part of my life. It wasn’t until I took my first “Intro to Finance” class at UVU that got me interested in the financial planning field. I have worked in the financial field now for nearly 2 years now beginning with banking. This experience allowed for me to see exactly what area of finance I wanted to associate myself with. Fast forward 2 years and I am nearing my bachelors in financial planning and am currently working in the exact area that I enjoy the most.
Who am I really:
I have been married to my beautiful wife Taylor for almost 2 years now. She is my best friend and is the hardest worker I know. Traveling is our favorite thing to do, especially to Disneyland. I grew up in Washington state near Portland, Oregon. I am a huge fan of sports. In high school I played football, basketball, and baseball. Being from the northwest I am a die hard fan for the Seattle Seahawks.
