What I do really well:
I have always been able to take what life gives me with a smile on my face. I have had success teaching groups of people and generating meaningful discussions on important topics. I am not satisfied with mediocre, so I observe mentors to develop and perfect skills that will result in constant growth.
Why I get up in the morning:
I get up in the morning because the alternative sounds awful. There is so much to learn, see, and do in this life and I don’t have time to waste. I know that in order to get the most out of life, individuals need to plan. I count myself successful if I can help someone improve their plan, change their attitude, and be a better contributor to society.
How I got here:
I received my bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University – Idaho. I have passed all four sections of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exam and am pursuing the remaining required credits to receive the CPA license.
My professional career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP (PwC) preparing individual income tax returns for expatriates. My time with PwC spanned three tax busy seasons until in 2014 I was hired by CH2M HILL, Inc. to help manage their growing expatriate employee population. After spending 2 1/2 years at CH2M, I joined MRP in February 2017.
Who am I really:
I am a husband to a wonderful wife and a father to two beautiful kids. I was born and raised in the great state of Colorado and I enjoy time in the mountains, riding bikes, hiking, and have recently taken up fishing.
